Project details
Project Type: Private Residential Villa
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Design Studio: HRarchZ
Lead Architect: Zakaria Eliwi
A refined composition of travertine and black metal, crafted for modern living in Riyadh.

This contemporary villa in Riyadh is a carefully composed architectural statement, balancing solid travertine masses with transparent glass façades and refined black metal elements. Designed by HRarchZ, the project emphasizes clean geometry, natural textures, and a strong visual identity that reflects modern luxury living in Saudi Arabia.

The project is conceived as a balance between solidity and transparency. The use of travertine gives the villa a grounded, timeless presence, while the extensive glazing opens the interior to natural light and visual continuity. Vertical metal elements introduce rhythm and depth, enhancing the façade’s identity.

The design responds to Riyadh’s climate by integrating shading strategies, recessed openings, and controlled exposure, ensuring comfort while maintaining a bold architectural expression.

Design concept
The concept is based on a balance between contrast and harmony, combining the solidity of stone with the transparency of glass. A unified earthy palette creates warmth, while vertical metal fins add rhythm and emphasize height. Strong geometric openings frame views, shaping the villa as a layered composition of materials, light, and shadow—a true “framed living experience
