Where Texture Meets Tranquility
Project Details
Project Type: Residential Interior – Sitting Room
Location: Qatar
Design Studio: HRarchZ
Lead Architect: Zakaria Eliwi
A contemporary sitting room designed by HRarchZ, blending natural materials with sculptural elegance in Qatar.

Designed as a modern sanctuary, this sitting room reflects HRarchZ’s commitment to material richness and spatial clarity. The interplay of natural stone walls, layered fabrics, and bespoke furnishings creates a cohesive design language that feels both timeless and contemporary. The result is a serene yet expressive interior rooted in warmth and sophistication.

The design is centered around creating a calm and immersive living experience that reflects both modern aesthetics and regional sensibilities. The textured stone wall acts as a visual anchor, grounding the space with depth and character. Soft furnishings in neutral tones balance the heaviness of the material palette, while sculptural elements—such as the suspended fabric installation and organic-shaped tables—introduce movement and artistic expression. Natural light plays a key role, enhancing textures and creating subtle shadows that evolve throughout the day.

Design Concept
The concept is based on “Layered Serenity.”
It explores the relationship between solid and soft, heavy and light. The stone wall represents permanence and tradition, while the flowing fabric installation and rounded furniture forms introduce softness and fluidity. The goal was to create a space that feels grounded yet airy, structured yet relaxed—an environment that invites both contemplation and social interaction.
