Nature Within Walls: Sculptural Bedroom by HRarchZ
A contemporary bedroom in Nigeria where sculptural design meets living greenery.
Design Concept
This bedroom project by HRarchZ, led by Zakaria Eliwi, explores the intersection of nature, art, and contemporary architecture. Located in Nigeria, the design transforms a private sleeping space into a serene sanctuary, where sculptural elements and vertical greenery coexist with refined materials and soft lighting. The result is a deeply immersive environment that balances calmness with bold visual identity.
The design balances contrast and harmony—nature with structure, softness with solidity, and light with shadow. Classical sculptures add a timeless touch, while vertical greenery brings life to the space. The radial wall behind the bed creates a calm focal point that anchors the design.
Lighting shapes the atmosphere, not just illuminating but defining the space. Suspended linear fixtures introduce movement and contrast with the stillness of natural elements, creating a layered and immersive bedroom retreat.
